After the first week of the season, Markus is leading the Lakers in almost every offensive category. In the first six games he is 13 for 19 at the plate with six extra base hits, including a pair of triples and a pair of homeruns. He scored 12 runs last week  while  registered an on base percentage of 0.769 and a slugging percentage of 1.316.
